Another ward of the Wallaces was William M. Demar, a 5th Grade Military Technician who fought in WWII. At the time of the war, as of at least 1942, he resided at East Park Road. In April 1944, he was listed as MIA near the Mediterranean Sea. He was presumed to have died, but survived and lived in the home as late as 1950. Warren also died before the 1950 census.

The home was owned by John Harris by 1968, who took in the Baynes family of Brookline Boulevard after their home burned down. In 1972, he sold the home to Arthur Siplo for $50,000.

The home went on sale in 1978 for $59,900, and was sold to the Collins family for $58,500. In 1994, it was on sale again, and sold for $175,000 the following year by the Collins to Joseph & Lillian Johnston. Near the end of the Johnstons' residency, the house was in disrepair and was decrepit. Instead of refurbishment, the land was sold to contractor Rick Fuller for $305,000, who tore down the home and constructed two new ones on the property. The home was sold in 2013 for $649,900.
